"Bless this highly nutritious, microwavable macaroni and cheese dinner, and the people who have provided it for us on sale. Amen."
-- Kevin McCallister, ("Home Alone" (1990)).

This lively evening promises comfort food, community, and creativity—all in support of The MAC’s mission to bring unparalleled arts and cultural experiences to the Napa Valley. Help us to put the FUN back into annual fundraisers, with a purposefully unpretentious carbs-forward evening at the museum’s new St Helena location. And since “cheese” is also slang for “money,” we invite the community and visitors to turn up, shop, and support The MAC's celebration of cheesy fun.

*OK, so no, MAC n' Cheese is not purely American in origin; its roots are in 13th-century Italy, but it was popularized in America through Thomas Jefferson and gained widespread fame during the Great Depression with the introduction of boxed mac and cheese. So, while the dish has strong historical ties to Italian cuisine, it is a dish with a rich, transnational history that evolved across Europe and became a staple in the United States.
